Mondays, January 28 - March 25, 2019, 7-9pm at the Syosset Campus. Our churches keep pretending that things are fine. Broken relationships, unresolved conflicts, inability to speak truth and living with mountains of assumptions and hurt, just separate us and damage our ability to love ourselves and others well. Jesus stated that we need to "...love our neighbor as ourselves" but unfortunately we are lost in how to practically bring that forth in our lives. We spend a lot of money to learn, and become competent in our careers, but few of us have learned the skills or gained the competency to love well. To address this need, The Emotionally Healthy Relationships Course has been developed to equip people with practical relationship skills to help us to love others and ourselves well.
Over an 8 week period you will learn to: Check Your Community Temperature Reading, Stop Mind Reading and Clarify Expectations, Genogram Your Family, Explore The Iceberg, Listen Incarnationally, Climb the Ladder to Integrity, Fight Cleanly, Develop a "Rule of Life" to Implement Your New Learnings.
Come join with us on this eight week adventure as we walk through these skills to help us to be disciples of Jesus that are marked by "loving well".
We are asking all participants to consider the following before signing up for the course: Not miss more than 2 sessions - so check your calendar!
