The world just seems to be so chaotic right now. At times like this, I think it’s really important to talk about and be mindful of how we handle ourselves. We have become a society that is so quick to judge and discriminate the second we come across a disagreement. I see this happen all the time on Facebook where people are virtually “yelling” at each other just because they disagree over a political issue. God makes it very simple. He calls us to LOVE each other. When asked which commandment is the most important, Jesus replies in Matthew 22:37-39 saying “'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” God has given us the gift of free will so that we can express our own opinions. The fact that we are given choices in life is a huge part of what makes life so beautiful. As we continue to interact with people with different opinions, be challenged today to act like Jesus would in the midst of a disagreement and respond with love. Ask yourself, what would Jesus do?"
