This 3rd grader loves music and his passion has led him to play the saxophone and piano. When the SRC choir began Eli Jacob was all in! Singing fills his heart with joy and he especially loves singing about God’s redemptive love for us. He believes singing is a way to touch people’s hearts and bring us closer to Jesus. Eli has been attending the Manhasset Campus since he was born along with his mom and dad, Staney and Binu, and his brother Kevin. You may not know this but Eli was in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on the Lindt Chocolate Float (yum!) along with singer Rachel Platten. Thank you, Eli, for using your gifts to serve God!
Binu Jacob feels a strong conviction about serving in Children’s Ministry. For the past 4 years Binu has been serving with 5th and 6th graders at Manhasset. “It's an opportunity that God has granted me to help lay a strong foundation in their young lives, a foundation based on Biblical values essential for these children to be impactful for His kingdom.” He and his wife of 16 years, Staney, have 2 boys of their own, Kevin (11) and Eli (8), who they pour into spiritually so they can be world-changers for Jesus. Not only has this dad worked in retail for the last 18 years, he is also a daredevil at heart and has skydived over Hoover Dam. Binu, thank you for being a part of possibly changing the course of these young lives by encouraging them to pursue Jesus.
