Reflection, Jerry O'Sullivan - Campus Pastor
Luke 12: 2-3 “There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.”
Depending on what we are saying and doing in our private life, this scripture is either very encouraging to us or it’s convicting. Our behavior behind closed doors will eventually come out in our public life. God loves us. He is not waiting for a certain time to uncover and embarrass us. This scripture is revealing a biblical truth to us. There are no secrets with God. We can’t live two separate lives forever—at some point the two worlds collide. The little things in our private life that may seem insignificant to us, matter to God.
