Reflection, Sam Tanas
I love what God is doing at our church. Two weeks ago, as I attended the second service, I looked around and I spotted at least 11 different nations represented and united under one roof- all praising one God. There is glory and goodness that is clearly being shown through our diversity. I immediately remembered this verse “As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 1 Corinthians 12:20-21(NIV). Just as we are different parts of one body, we come every Sunday to unite our hearts for one Savior. We are called to make our body (church) stronger and healthier by serving, using our gifts and abilities, and by getting plugged into a community group within our church body, so we can fellowship and study the word of God together. By this we will continue to be more like Jesus and grow “in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52.
