Women of the Word
Times for women to delve deeper into God’s Word!
God of Deliverance | Fall 2021
The exodus of the Israelites shapes our understanding of the whole Bible. Its themes reverberate all the way to Revelation. Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world.
Join us weekly on Wednesday mornings starting September 15 at the Manhasset Campus or Thursday mornings or evenings starting September 16 at the Syosset Campus for our God of Deliverance Bible study led by Jen Wilkin!
In this study you will:
1. Learn the deeper theological implications of stories you’ve known for years.
2. Understand how God protects His children and prioritizes their worship of Him above all else.
3. Explore how God provided deliverance for His children to be able to worship Him freely and how it affects our lives today.
The workbook costs $16 is available for purchase in-person on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also purchase the workbook ahead of time at Amazon or christianbook.com (prices may vary).

She Reads Truth | Fall 2021
Everything we find in the Bible—every book, every author, every literary genre—points us to God. The 66 books of the Old and New Testaments tell one unified story about God’s love and purpose for humanity as well as His plan to rescue us.
You are invited to join us on Tuesdays, starting September 28, at 7 PM at the Westbury Campus for the new She Reads Truth Bible study!
Over the course of seven weeks, we’ll read thematic selections from every book of the Old Testament to see how they contribute to the greater narrative of Scripture, from the creation of the world to the establishment, captivity, and restoration of the nation of Israel.
At the end of this study, you’ll have a framework for reading the Old Testament and a better understanding of its role in redemption history. Be encouraged to read, participate and challenge yourself to grow in your Biblical literacy.
